The membership dues do towards sustaining the only 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in this region dedicated towards the preservation of local wildlife by rehabilitating the orphaned and injured as well as providing community education opportunities. It is our promise to ourselves and this community to work to present the present as a present for future generations. |

If you were to consider the foundation as a warm blooded animal; the staff and volunteers would be the limbs. They would be doing the work. The donors would be the spine and bone. They would be the structure and strength. The board of directors are then the brain and eyes. It is their job to stay focused and think about what is next. Without each part AHWF cannot survive. We keep it all together with our combined knowledge. Are you willing to dedicate around three hours each month to conserve what you love? |
