AVERAGE COST FOR REHABILITATING A: SMALL MAMMAL FROM INFANT TO YOUNG ADULT = $300-$500 and 400 hours.
A SONG BIRD FROM HATCHLING TO YOUNG ADULT = $100-$200 and 300 hours. 
A BIRD OF PREY = $200-$500.
THE COST TO THE ENVIRONMENT WITHOUT THIS SPECIES IN IT  = PRICELESS.  
WHEN A SPECIES IS LOST THE DAMAGE IS DEVASTATING. ALL IT TAKES IS THE LOSS OF A FEW INDIVIDUALS AND THE DOMINOS START TO FALL. HELP US HELP THEM RETURN TO THE WILD. IT TAKES ALL OUR EFFORTS TO KEEP THE ECOSYSTEM WHOLE.

REMEMBER PLEDGES ARE GLADLY ACCEPTED.   MEMBERSHIP FORM Membership meetings:                                                                                                         Our members and supporters join us twice each year for the bi-annual meetings held mid-April and again mid-September. The board of directors will be deciding the agenda but everyone is welcome to contribute. We discuss everything from the progress of the animals in our care to the progress with the community activities being planned. Visitors are welcome to attend.

Volunteering                                                 We need your help! We need volunteers to help with animal care. Do you have a love of animals? Students this will look great on college transcripts. Retired persons with time on your hands and are looking for something to do? Giving back to the circle of life is a great feeling. Volunteers are especially needed during baby season and any bit of help is greatly appreciated. Do not hesitate to call and ask for volunteer information and positions. Currently we are looking for early spring volunteers to help with orphan wildlife.

AHWF Wish list Volunteering time is just as important as 'volunteering' items needed to take care of the vast variety of wildlife we rehabilitate. Following items are in dire need:  Food (please contact us for more information on what type), Heating Lamps, various cleaning supplies such as Bleach and Laundry soap ... for a full list of items needed contact us.
